diaper size for your 7 wk old?

I'm using 7th generation diapers, and I just bought size 2 for my 7 wk old son. I think he weighs about 12 lbs now, but haven't had a weighing since his 1 month appt.

I'm still not sure if they are too big, but I he was leaking with size 1's so I thought I would try switching up.

What size are you using for your 7 wk old?

My 7wk old twins wear a size 1 diaper and they weigh 11.14 lbs. and 10.8 lbs.

I've been using Huggies size 1-2. DD is about 14 lbs now. I think we're almost ready to move up to size 3.

We just changed to size 2 today at 7w3d.

i have noticed the 7th generation run small or just don't fit my LO right. The NB were nice with the stretch in the back but they took that out of the other sizes! I think it makes the fit funny. Maybe that is where the leaking is coming from?

We aren't at 7 weeks yet (will be 6 weeks on Friday), but we just went to a 1 about a week and a half ago. We weighed him on Sunday and he was 10.25 lbs, so I don't forsee him going to a size 2 for a little while longer.
