Online wishlist for gifts?

A few months ago I started keeping a wishlist on amazon for stuff I wanted to buy for DD (toys, kitchen set, storage furniture, table and chairs, etc), just so I did not forget about ideas that I had (plus you can add stuff from other sites besides amazon and I like that since I like to try and find the lowest price). My mom has already started asking me for Christmas ideas and I was thinking of sharing the wishlist with her and a few other people who I know would be getting things for DD who typically ask us for ideas. This is partly to give them ideas but partly out of selfishness since I like the stuff and have already done research, and I know it would match what we have/fit in our house/etc.

Do you think it is a bad idea to share this list? Would it look "gift-grabby"?

Will baby #3 be another girl?

    I don't think it looks gift-grabby at all. If your mom asked, why not share the list? I would do it.

    i made a wish list for DD's bday (which will be changing to her xmas wish list). the only people who know about it are those who asked what to get her. that was 3 people. i'm not advertising it, but this way if people ask, they know where to look. i also add things as i see them that i think will be cute for DD. there are things from $5, so i don't find it being gift-grabby, it's just a wish list.

    I have a Target List for Addison that I plan on sending out next month w/ a kind email just saying that I know everyone likes to plan early and here are some "ideas" of things Addison likes/needs.  They can feel free to get whatever they want or nothing at all! :) I think it's great. Dh's family is always asking so I figured it would be great for them.

    When I first heard of this a couple of years ago, I was horrified.  Now I see how helpful they are for the purchaser.

    I made a list on Babies R Us' site.  I only told my mom and MIL, figured if they waned to pass on the info they could.  At least people would know what you were wanting and didn't have already.  I wish everyone did it with their kids!  So helpful.  I usually do a search online to see if the birthday kid has one before buying any gifts.  Usually they don't though.
