Hi Ladies -
I'm in charge of "games" for my sister's baby shower this weekend. For my shower, people we played baby bingo and a baby-song game. People weren't that into it. Any suggestions for fun activities or games that you've played at baby showers? I'm looking for something different!
TIA!
Re: Baby shower games/activities?? Help!
Last couple of showers I've helped to host we have done a "guess the baby item" game. You buy baby things for the mom-to-be, put them in a numbered paper bag, and then send the items around for the guests to guess what it is. If you end up with some oddly shaped items, it's even better!
We also turned this into a "price is right" game, where the guests had to guess how mucht the total of the items were.
Have fun!
I went to one shower and the games were sooo much fun! I usually hate baby shower games but these were good.
#1 - Fill baby bottles half full (4 ounces) with juice/punch/water and have a "sucking contest" - whoever finishes first, second, and third wins a prize! Use level 1 (newborn) nipples to make it more of a challenge. It was really difficult, but fun!!!
#2 - Get (2) baby dolls - dress them in a onesie, short-sleeved shirt over that, pants, socks, and shoes. Seperate the guests into 2 teams. Have a race. Each person must undress and redress the baby doll. Whichever team finishes first wins! That was stressful but also fun!
I just got back from my sister's baby shower over the weekend. We had this game where all guests get a pencil and a paper. Guests must put the paper above their heads and using the pencil draw a baby WITHOUT lifting the pen up. The baby drawing that the mom-to-be choses wins.
We also had measure the tummy game, baby word scrabble (found these at a dollar tree), guessing the gifts. It was lot of fun.
