Do IUDs cause weight gain?

I saw the post below about the mirena....I have read soooo much about IUDs (specifically mirena) causing weight gain. If you have one, do you agree or disagree? I really want to get one but am scared of gaining weight. I need to figure something out soon!

When I had mine, I did not gain weight with it

I have one and I have a harder time losing weight, but I did not gain. I started weight watchers about 2 months ago and I am down about 15 pounds so it can be done.
