I need to label G's clothes/loveys/blankets for preschool, but I'm looking for a non-permanent way to do this.
S2 will wear those clothes later, so I don't want G's name all over them. Plus I'd like to be able to re-sell.
Any ideas on what I can do?
Oh, I also suck at embroidering.
Re: Non-permanent way to label clothing?
Neat! Can you share some info please?

What about putting your last name instead of G's name on the labels? Then you won't have to remove them for S2, just when you are ready to sell them.
I've seen these around:

I bought these and I love them.
I found this tutorial online for making your own labels. I haven't tried it yet but I think I'm going to give it a shot.

DItto Olivers Labels, Stuck on you, Name Bubbles, and Label Daddy. I have stuff in carts all over the place just haven't clicked the confirm button.
I figure that there is no perfect adhesive out there so all the labels will come off at some point. It makes it a little easier in the decision that the clothing won't be forever ruined for future use.
Here's an easier tutorial for sew in labels.

Awesome! Thank you guys.
I ended up getting some of the name bubbles stickers. They're washable & peelable, and the price was right (over 100 for under $25 after s/h). We'll give those a shot.
In terms of putting the last name: this is still a tbd actually. We're considering having S2 take my last name, in which case he and G would have different names. Even if that didn't happen, I would still want a semi-permanent label, so I can resell the clothes later.
