Pregnant after a Loss

Googling "boredom while pregnant" got myself more annoyed!

First, I want to say I was never bored while pregnant until yesterday.  My DH and I were trying to figure out how to spend our lovely afternoon/evening in a way that would not be too hard on me.  We love to go bicycling, hiking and going to the beach and the like.  Obviously being past 39 weeks, biking is out of the question and I usually can't last too long walking without some hip pains and some major waddling.  The last two weeks, we have hit the mall (we are so not mall shoppers but it was nice enjoying the a/c and window shopping once in a while), have hit the book stores for fun and some Bocce ball playing in the evening when it is cool. (Background, I have had been off work since Aug 19th on STD and had the last 4 weeks to thaw out and got all my "preparing for baby" bases covered as well as keeping better upkeep of our home.

We wanted to do something different and out of boredom, my lameness and curiosity, I Google "pregnant and bored".  I came across a vent a lady was saying that she couldn't do much with her pregnant state and is going bonkers.  She was saying things like she has no idea what she is going to do with the rest of her pregnancy and how she will handle it from this point.  It was quite a long vent and at the end of the vent, she proceeded to say that she was only 6 weeks pregnant!  Yes, only 6 weeks!!!!   I am sure I am more annoyed by this than most because I am only 2 days away from meeting my EDD.  I was riding my bike until I was 37 weeks! (Not advocating this bike riding that far along in pregnancy but each to their own)

I guess getting so close to the EDD date while reading about others meeting their little ones already kind of gets me kooky at this point lol!

In case anyone still reading and wonders, DH and I decided to go to a beach town to watch the sunset and we were surprised to find a festival going on.  We were able to walk around and look for awhile and went to the restaurant we got married at and enjoyed our favorite appetizer and desserts.  It is so hard to find something to do that does not consist of eating at this stage lol!
