This would actually be for my husband...he is SO excited about becoming a dad, and one of the things he talks about most is looking forward to carrying around his daughter in a carrier. We have three dogs and this would be perfect so that he can have hands free for a leash (or two if he can handle it!).
I missed out on the bandwagon with wearing my son, just didn't know much about it when he was born so never looked into wearing him. Now that we have baby number two on the way with a small toddler at home, the thought of wearing the new baby sounds divine! I would probably use it all the time; walks, errands, around the house, etc!!! I think I could actually convince my husband to wear the ERGObaby too since it isn't too "girly"!

With the carrier system I will be able to vacuum, wash dishes, make dinner, and still give my LO a kiss on the head. Actually, I will only enjoy the kisses.
I'm going to be a busy, working mom, so anytime my hands are free is going to be golden! I've heard that these work great for dad's too and my husband is worried that he won't be able to bond as well without one. We are a family on a strict budget to winning one would be the only way we could get one.

With my son, he refused to do anything other than sit in my arms when I was home on maternity leave. Read that as I couldn't grab a bite to eat or run to the restroom without using one arm to hold him. I bought a sling, but with my large chest it wasn't comfortable. I am really looking forward to used hands free baby carriers this time around so I can maybe feel a bit more human while I am home with baby all day and be able to eat or maybe clean up after baby's big brother.

Wow...how wouldn't I use it? The store, the zoo..etc. I have a one year old so I could easily go for a walk pushing her in the stroller and wear my newborn. That would be a great way to get the baby weight off!
I would use it to carry baby through the airport. We have family a few states away and will hopefully be able to visit shortly after baby is born to show him/her off to everyone. Carrying LO will be much easier than dragging a stroller through the airport!
While I'm out on maternity leave, my husband will be taking our only car to work everyday, which basically leaves me stranded! However, we live across the street from a big park, so I'm planning lots of Autumn walks with the baby and the dog. We have a 60 pound shepherd mix, so hands free carrying is a must! An Ergobaby would really help out with this, and help me to not feel so isolated and homebound with a newborn.
I would love to be able to hold my baby close and securely while having my hands free to do whatever needs to be done. I'd love to take DS out on walks without having to worry about a stroller, get chores done around the home, and just be able to carry my son whenever I can without hurting my back!
Nursed without dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish, shellfish or beef for over a year.
Currently tandem nursing dairy, egg, and shellfish free.
DS born via emergency c/s after 20 hrs of labor. DD successful VBAC!
I will enjoy going for walks around the neighborhood with LO snuggled up in a carrier rather than the stroller all the time. Also, I would use to run to the store or while traveling.

My DH and I will enjoy wearing our LO for walks around the neighborhood and for hiking. I'm also planning on wearing him while working around the house.
We will use ours to introduce our LO to one of the greatest things in the U.S. The Great Smoky Mountians National Park! We live less than thirty minutes away from the park and plan on taking our LO to the park as early and often as possible after she gets here. The park has been such a large part of our lives we can't wait for our little girl to see the wonderful things we have in our backyard!

walking, shopping, getting things done around the house, going to church, parks you name it.... this being baby #3 I don't usually have free hands any more.
Would love a hands free system as we travel back to visit the grandparents on the other side of the country. I think this is key for trips at the airport.
Not to mention all the festivals and events our town holds in the spring time. It would be great to bring baby with and have our hands free!
Good luck to everyone who entered!! Hope I'm lucky!
I will enjoy my ERGO doing everything! I will have 2 under 2 when this one comes so I will need it when trying to chase my 20 month old and take care of a newborn.
i would love to be able to go for a long walk with both my dogs and my son!! they love their new brother so much when ever they come back to the house from a walk they race to him and greet him right away! also it would be pretty awesome to fold laundry in one shot again lol

As much as I like precariously balancing my laptop on my lap as I hold the wee one, having a carrier will enable me to safely do homework (as well as other things) while holding onto my little guy. Now, if we can just figure out how to make reading psychophysiological effects of media out loud to the little fellow sound like fairy tales!
Since my husband is in the army and I will be home alone for months at a time with no help to get things done around the house, I will enjoy being hands free with the ERGObaby carrier system so I can get things done around the house even when baby wants nothing but to be held. It will also give me the opportunity to wear the baby and be able to walk both of our large dogs without DH around, benefit for myself, my health, baby and the dogs... Such a bonus!
I will enjoy the fact that I can keep my new baby close while still doing hands on things with my toddler. I see the Ergo as a must for our growing family.
I wil enjoy using it everywhere! Grocery shopping, going for walks, the mall getting things done around the house and chasing LO #1 around but keeping #2 safe and close by.

We will enjoy using it for walks with our LO. Especially at our favorite lake where we go to feed the ducks.
