Mine never did. I was turned off by veggies and oddly enough, chicken, my entire pregnancy last time. I ate so many carbs, it was nuts. But I tried my best to not give in to total junk and I gained about average, 30 or so pounds.
I am having to force myself to eat healthy. I didn't want anything good for me last pregnancy and I ended up on bedrest with pre-eclampsia. I don't want that to happen this time, so I am keeping up with my exercise, eating right, blah blah blah. Have you tried drinking on the of the V-8 drinks that supposedly give you a serving of fruits and veggies? Maybe that would be easier for you? Feel better soon!

I actually didn't have "cravings" with my first son... I had a lot of aversions but this time is the complete opposite. I'm eating junk. I have faith it will go back to normal soon. For now, eat anything you can just to get something down. I find fruits are easier to eat than veggies.
"Right beside you is where I belong... from this moment on."
With my first I wanted nothing to do with any veggies. Fruits I was OK with...but veggies made me gag every time. This didn't stop after 1st tri, but I think it did eventually subside close to 35 weeks.
This time it's the same thing, but I've figured out I can tolerate caesar salads and cucumbers and am having TONS of those for now. That's along with all of the junk food and carbs I've been craving.
I don't ever remember craving veggies or fruit, but I don't even not pg! BUT, I included them in my diet as I usually do. I remember not craving sweets 1st tri, which is waaaaay bizarre for me. The thing I craved was anyting starchy, mainly potato dishes!!!

I just wanted to share that I was told not to drink V-8 unless it's the low sodium kind. We are already going to have issues retaining water and regular V-8 has over half your daily dose of sodium which could lead to extra bloating/swelling if you consume too much. I was bummed too because I bought some and I actually like the taste of it.

Be careful with the Caesar dressing - raw eggs... I was told to completely avoid it when I was pg with DS.
I'm having to eat very small portions of food or I get sick as all get out. And if I have too much sweet stuff I get gaggy. Other than that, not too much horrible stuff so far. With DS I could only eat salads and baked potatoes in the 1st tri. Then I ate like a cow and went on to gain 46#!!! I'm really trying NOT to do that this time!

I never had a good diet to begin with, so trying to eat better in 1st tri is absurdly difficult.
I made pot roast for dinner last night with carrots and red potatoes. The carrots tasted like they had been soaked in sugar water for a year before i threw them in my slow cooker! I could NOT believe how sweet they tasted. I am a big sweets fan, but I could barely choke down 5 pieces of these things!
Re: Experienced moms....

I had to forse myself to eat right, and I know it will be the same this time will be just as bad.
