5 months old and all ready won't snuggle anymore!

Crying

Dylan will not let me cuddle him or rock him to sleep anymore.  When he is tired, he wants me to put him in his crib and get the eff out.  WTH?

    If it makes you feel any better Caiden won't let me hold him like a baby much.  :(  I can rock him to sleep but he'll just wake up and cry.  He hasn't been a fan of laying me or anything for months unless he's teething or not feeling well.   That last part makes me sad.

    What?! He already has a little attitude???? If it's any consolation Libby was the same way when she was around 6 months, but grew out of that fast and was back to snuggling around 8 months. 

    Maybe he's just having an off day...booo Sad I'm sorry Laurie.

    I remember being sad when my older son did not want me to nurse him to sleep anymore around 7 months. Broke my heart. But, sweet stages come and go and I've found the come more than they go! I loved rocking my son at night when he was a toddler. He never went to sleep on me, but he loved cuddling. Still does. Its special, especially with a boy, to have him want mommy hugs and it is more special the older he is! Don't worry, he still has lots of snuggles for you!

    I know!  It's ridiculous! I mean, I knew he wouldn't cuddle me for forever, but I thought I'd at least get a year or two.  No more rocking?  Really??

    Well, he can't have an off day today because I'm having one, darn it!  And I need my baby cuddles!

    It's actually been going on for a couple of weeks now...so maybe it's a phase that'll pass soon.  Like tomorrow.  Here's hopin'.

    Since having Matthew I get so emotional thinking about him growing up. I actually got all teary when I read this post. Matthew is going to cuddle with me forever. AND he is going to like it.

    Well that is just not acceptable. Having on off day (or week) when you are just doesn't work. Poor momma Sad I'll keep my fingers crossed that he's back to cuddling in no time.

    Poor thing! Just sneak in his room when he's sleeping and scoop him up!
