    1: What is the branch youre affiliated with? Army

    2: What is you or your DS's job? DH is currently a full time student working on a dual masters program at US Army Baylor. Before that, he was a commander for C/115th BSB, 1st Cav for almost 3 years.

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? We've been at Fort Hood for 8 years! Though now technically DH is at Fort Sam Houston, we still live in the same house and doing split living while he's at school (we're outside of Austin). After a few years at Fort Hood, we moved closer to Austin because I'm a city girl and Fort Hood is not my fav place...lol.

    4: Kids? We're expecting our first one March 2011!

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. (other than deployments, those are a given) Probably the fact that we can never plan anything ahead. We tried to get married in 2004, but he deployed. We postponed our wedding a year and had to take our honeymoon first! We had to put off trying for kids for at least 3 years because of deployments. I got Red Sox tickets (we're from Boston) when they came to TX and splurged for box seats--turned out DH had to be in the field that weekend. It just gets frustrating!
     
    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. I guess since we live outside of Austin further away from Fort Hood/Fort Sam Houston, military uniforms aren't as omnipresent. In the rare occassion that DH is in uniform and we're out for lunch or dinner, people always come shake his hand and thank him for his service. We've had kids come up to him and thank him for protecting them. People have paid for our meals without us knowing. As much as the military frustrates us sometimes, DH stil gets a sense of pride when he wears the uniform. People definitely show their support!

    2: What is you or your DS's job? my DH is a gunnersmate (GM) and i am a logistics specialist (LS)

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? the worst bas i have ever been to is Norfolk, VA... my DH got stationed there without me.

    4: Kids?  i have a 4 yr old DD from my previuos marriage and we have 3 month old son together

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. (other than deployments, those are a given)  i could go on for days about things that irk me in the navy, but i will save you the eye full.

    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life.   my benefits!

DH is a field wireman3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? this is our first being married. as a navy brat, i wasnt too fond of san diego.4: Kids? first baby girl due december 10 =)5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. (other than deployments, those are a given) hm... the fact that they can keep him as long as they want "need" not too fond of that...
    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. i really dont know... i was born into the military life and know no other way =/

    2: What is you or your DS's job? I am Supply/Logistics/PC Clerk and Armorer  He is an Aircraft Mechanic and Avionics

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? HAAF Ga

    4: Kids? After I come home TTC #1   =)

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. (other than deployments, those are a given) Hate not being in control. Ugggg

    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. Stable Income

    2: What is you or your DS's job? Trains and counsels Air Force cadets

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? Biloxi, MS....I was there a year for tech school and it really is the arm pit of America

    4: Kids? Yes, a 5 mon old daughter

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. (other than deployments, those are a given) The commissary and BX selection! sometimes it's over priced stuff, sometimes it's cheap and ugly stuff that no one wants, and the horrible restaurant/eateries in the BX. The food is not that healthy at all. The produce sucks in our commissary and they hardly carry the stuff I need/want so it's almost easier to just to go off base and shop even though it's farther away.

    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. Good health care coverage.

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? Nothing bad so far but only been to Great Lakes and now San Diego

    4: Kids? Yup our cootie patootie little boy!

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. (other than deployments, those are a given) I would just love to say next year we are gonna do this and not have to guess if it's actually a possibility.

    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. Seeing your husband after being apart, it's like falling in love all over again. Not many people get to do that with the same person!

    2: What is you or your DS's job?  Test Pilot

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? Been to?  Fallon, NV.  Stationed at?  Pensacola, FL.

    4: Kids? One daughter and a baby boy on the way.

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. Not being able to stay in one job for a long period of time.  I LOVE my career and wish I had the opportunity to grow roots somewhere.

    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. I feel like we take care of one another, it is easy to make friends, and I know that nomatter where we are stationed next I will know at least one person.  I also like getting to explore the country a little bit.

    3: What is the worst base/ Post you've ever been to? I have only been here (JB MDL) with him, no complaints.

    4: Kids? two sons, 2 and 3.

    5: Pick one thing that irks you most about Military Life. uncertainty and waiting

    6: Pick one thing you love about Military life. There are a lot of things but the friends and comraderie is unmatched

    3. Davis-Monthan AFB is our first duty station, so I don't have anything to compare. lol

    4. Pregnant with our first. HE is due in January.

    5. Being away from our families.

    6. The patriotism that surrounds the base and being able to see jets flying at any given time. :)
