Of course, it was loads of fun to be in the room where we lost Pumpkin. Bonus points for still having that LMP and EDD in the system, and the tech not figuring out what that meant for a good minute.
But once we recovered from the minor break down all that caused - everything was great.
Our rockstar is measuring at 8 weeks, 2 days w/ a strong heartbeat. And the baby moved! I've never seen my baby move on an u/s screen before. It was amazing.
No more bleeding, no issues that the tech could see (we all know how open and communicative they are). Appointment with the OB on Tuesday!

This is such wonderful news! Glad that your LO is kicking butt!
Sorry about the tech not figuring it out fast enough. I had a receptionist give me the survey they have women fill out after they give birth about life with baby my first visit after we lost the twins. It took her about 2 minutes to realize...ooppss...bad idea...and then they put me in a separate room so I could lose my sh!t.
Oh that is wonderful!!! I'm so glad for you!!
And poo on that tech for not getting her act together.
Missed m/c at 17 weeks, partial molar pregnancy d&c 11/30/09
I am, the nurse didn't feel comfortable releasing me from it until I've seen the doctor.
Well rest up and hopefully Scout behaves!
Yay for a strong LO and that you got to see some moves! That's great!
Sorry they had past data in the machine. That must have been a stressful few minutes. Thank goodness for the relief that followed.
Missed m/c 11.09 | Missed m/c 3.10 | We miss you & love you so.

All of my U/S's will be in the same room, which of course is the same room that I was in when we saw that Goblin didnt have a HB, so each one is a little sad and slightly terror inducing. Sorry about your stinky tech, but glad you got good news! Hope the Tuesday apt goes well too! Also, Im glad to hear you got to see the baby move! I get my next u/s on Tuesday (I'll be 8w2d) and Im really exicted that I might get to see LO move!
Oh, I am SO glad to hear it went well!!
We've had the issue of being in the same room(s), too. My doc has an u/s in her office, but it's just the one, so all my early u/s--good and bad--have been in that room. The upside is we also have had the same tech each time, so while the LMP and EDD from the last pg has shown up, at least the tech knew what was going on each time. And now that you mention it, I think all my appts this time have been in the same exam room where the doc talked to us after each of the "bad" u/s. While I can't really avoid that, I have taken to not tempting fate by sitting on the other side of the waiting room these days. :-)
Wahoo!!!
This is your sticky baby, we all demand it to be!
