I bring DS to work, and he starts his nap in the car, but my car-to-PNP never works either. I usually transfer him to the stroller, and immediately walk him around in that and he usually falls back asleep.

the second we stop the car...LO wakes up. and if we ever try to pick her up while shes sleeping she wakes up. She wakes up if she hears us come into her room...we have a very light sleeper..makes things difficult sometimes!

We have the same problem. I try to b home for her naps, but if I am on my way home with her, I try to sing and talk to her. If that does not work, I actually try to sit in the car with it running until she wakes up. Pathetic, I know, but at least she sleeps a little more than 10 mins. My husband has seen me in the car in front of our house a few times after church services on sunday.
We had the same problem, until I figured out a different way to pick him up that *usually* keeps him asleep. I slide one hand under his rear (both of his legs on one side of my arm), and one hand behind his head and do a quick pick up into a cradle hold in my arms. If he starts to stir, I can quickly rock him back to sleep... but usually he stays asleep well enough that he won't wake up for a while.
Just try picking them up in different positions, see if something else works better for you. Good luck!
