Honestly, I feel a little sorry for her. It seems like she is extremely wrapped up in her business and may miss some of the "good stuff" with her children. Of course I only have this one article as a window into her world so I could be totally wrong. I understand she can work whenever she needs to, but I would guess she has to be tired a lot if she is so busy she is emailing and helping clients hours after birth....not to mention she has 5 children. I admit I only have an outside perspective as I'm not a mother yet but it does hit home a little. I have a sister that is crazy busy all the time, always stressed about work, and always tired. I feel like sometimes she misses out on opportunities with my niece because it seems like she is never 100% there because of stress, and being busy and overwhelmed. I know it's not easy to find a good balance.Work/life balance is one of the things I think about a lot as we are starting our family.
Flame away But if she needs to be back to work an hour after her C-section how does she have any time for her 5 kids?
She's got a 19 year old daughter, so maybe she's raising her younger kids Duggar-style.
Unable to even.

The article never stated whether this was her first c/s or not. It would be interesting to know if she had her other babies vaginally and that she doesn't really know what she is in for with a c/s.
I was on drugs for a few weeks after my c/s, as were a lot of you. I could barely function, let alone do work. Guess I'm not a "supermum."

Wow... Totally impossible. I had a C-section and I was out of it for 2 weeks. Not to mention the hospital won't let her leave.
She's not trying to leave to actually go to work. She will just be calling and emailing and all. Still. Crack pot. And an hour after a c section you are on drugs that would not make you fit to be making big decisions. At the very least. And I feel sorry for her kids that they get such a low priority in her life.
