I had already booked through my 28 week appt, and at my last appt on Tuesday doc suggested I just booked the rest, esp with the holidays falling when they do, it was nice to be able to pick the days and times for all those weekly appts.

I make it when I'm there......if I remember otherwise I'll call about a week before I'm suppose to go in. Oops. Thankfully my OB isn't all that busy so he can always see me.
The general policy in my doc's office is to just schedule the next one when you're there. However, the scheduler lets me make appointments 2 months out (I've got Sept & Oct scheduled, will make Nov when I go next week) because I'm a teacher, and the time periods that work for me to get there without taking a partial day off fill up quickly.

I wanted to be able to request time of at work ahead of time so I have my appointments scheduled until October 27th. Then I start going every two weeks so I'll schedule those at that appointment.
My doctor's office sent me a schedule of all of my appointments after my initial visit. It makes it nice because I have had everything laid out for me since the beginning- including the different tests and things that will be happening at each appointment!
I usually schedule the next appointment when I'm there. However they scheduled my big u/s at my very first appointment. It made the wait even longer since my first appointment was early May and my big u/s was Aug. 3oth!
