Back to work :(
Well...it's here. My 'official' 1st day back to work. I have to leave in a half hr to take DS to daycare. I must say I'm feeling kind of excited to go back to work - I love what I do, but also guilty for leaving him. I know he'll have a great time, and I'm already looking forward to picking him up @ the end of the day. Good news too - I tried on a pair of my pp pants & they fit! (which is a good thing b/c the too-big-maternity-clothes look was getting really bad)

not good - but nothing to do with DS or work - some a*hole didn't know how to work a 4-way stop & hit my front passenger side trying to make the right turn into my lane. It was my turn & didn't see him b/c there was a huge black truck waiting for his turn next to the guy. I flipped - it was on the way to the daycare, so DS was in the car. I took him to the Dr. & everything's fine. He was actually asleep when it happened & only woke up for a little bit - I think the impact startled him. Luckily neither car was going fast, but still - I've been an emotional mess since. Work today was good though - & DS loves his daycare provider. I really hope no one has to go through something like this. I felt so helpless - there was no way I could have changed the events & yet I feel guilt because DS was with me. maybe it's a sign I shouldn't go back to work...
