Oh dang it!

When dh was putting the crib together, he noticed the bolt that holds the front railing into the post just turns and turns instead of securing .So the front railing (the one LO will use to pull himself up, doesn't stay in place and rocks back and forth)  We called the company and they won't be recieving that model until the end of Oct early Nov, then they would have to ship it to us.

I called BRU and they said we could take the crib apart and bring it back to them and they'll give us a new crib.

I'm glad we can get it all done, but what a pain in the heiny!

Re: Oh dang it!

  • I did the same thing when i was putting my crib together and then after about 30 minutes and asking my DH to come help me.  We figured out I used the wrong length bolt on another  part of the crib.  So I just had to take that bolt out and put it in the right spot.

That's so nice that they are both willing to help you out!

  • I had to take my crib apart and have to get a new one.  Mine was for a recall though.  It's a pain.  Worked out for us though because we have to put up baseboards in the nursery and it will be easier without the crib in there.
  • Oh that does suck butt!  When we were putting our crib together I was just praying that all the parts were there and there were none left over.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...
