What are you doing with your clothes that "don't quite fit"..Are you putting them away for next year or keeping them in your closet?
I go through my pile of jeans every morning trying to find a pair that fits and it is frustrating.
Due to excess enlargement of my hips and thighs, only about half my jeans still fit. And due to my frumpy gut, only half my shirts look okay on. And due to my enlarged bosom, buttons look as if they are about to fly on some things.
Basically, my wardrobe is a hot mess and I don't know what to do!
Help!!
Re: Clothing Question
I'm having the same problem. I packed up all my clothes when I was pg and put them in the basement. I go down and try stuff on every once in a while, if it doesn't fit I just leave it in the rubbermaid tub so I don't have to look at it and know it doesn't fit.
I have this thing that if I leave my skinny clothes in the closet I am more likely to work to fit back into them. If I put them away then I don't have that daily reminder.
If it makes you feel better, I think I will be in maternity clothes for quite a while after this one comes!
My winter clothes that I have saved were last worn winter of 2007.
2008- M/C and TTC pregnant Christmas Eve 2008
2009-Just had Aiden, didn't fit.
I am almost to my PrePreg weight. But nothing still fits. My hips are wider and my butt is bigger. I may have to ditch the clothes. And I will be ticked. Hopefully there are some shirts that may fit.
This! I was lucky enough that before getting pg I had lost 15lbs... so during the pg most of my clothes (including pants) still fit me... I only need to loose about 6more lbs to be pre-pg weight but I still have the jello like belly... I keep all the clothes that doesn't make me fell all gross in a few drawers and the rest are in a bin that I will occassionally try on to see if I like the way it looks now...
Pretty much this. I used to be really small before the baby and it's just depressing to see my old clothes in the closet so I keep them in a rubbermaid tub under the bed. I have also gotten rid of a lot of the items that I have given up hope of ever wearing again. My hips are just too big now.
