they should have worked by now. I take it for sinus migranes and it works within the hour. Did you take regular or PE. Regular is the only one that works for me. PE does nothing. I don't think you are supposed to take pe anyway when you are pregnant. hope you feel better!
I took the normal 12hr white pills a few weeks ago to battle my head cold, and it started working within the hour ...but along with that my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest, and our LO was going nuts!!
Sudafed is not something that needs to build in your system ...I know you can also try Tylenol Head Cold ....my OB said as long as its as plain as possible, you should have no problem...just avoid Multi-Symptom Tylenol cold medication.
sorry for butting in but i was told by my dr not to use sudafed. i think its in category c? i couldve used it once or twice for my allergies had i known it was ok?

plain sudafed is ok, the PE stuff is not.
and at this point I don't care if its a class c. I need it more than I can do without it. (that is if it would even work...)

I've been stuffy for 5 days now and no relief. My OB finally gave me a script for nasonex. It's the first day so we'll see how it goes. I hope you feel better soon.
Re: how long would you expect a sudafed to start working?
well the benedryl has been doing nothing for me, so trying sudafed.
hmmmm
It's the regular kind.
I can take more in 2 more hours, so maybe I just need more to knock it out.
thanks
