Anyone else have this yet

I have so much pressure down there.  This weekend I could barley walk because of it.  It was good yesterday but today its very painfull to walk.  It hurts to turn over in bed or get up from laying down.  I did not have this pain untill my daughter dropped at 36 or 37 weeks.  My doctor said its normal because im a second time mom but the way im feeling is making me feel he is not going to go to full term or make it to my planned c-section.  Anyone else getting this already?

Re: Anyone else have this yet

  • I had that last week, and it was SO terrible.  I just thought I had 18 weeks left though, and was gonna have to stick it out.  My husband made me go to the doctor just to check, and it turned out I had a yeast infection.  One pill and a few days later and I feel so much better!!  There is still a hint of pressure, but it turned out the infection was making everything just a hundred times more sensitive.  I'd say go get it checked out - you may get some surprise relief! :)

I have had it at times but not as bad as you described. I am a second time mom too, I didn't know you could feel it sooner with a second pregnancy. Hope things work out for you.

I did not know you could either untill I got it and asked my doctor.  I was really worried at first because I got it 19 weeks.  He said its normal as long as I have no bleeding or other signs of going in to labor.  But its getting worse and I have another 19 weeks left (almost 18 weeks) with this little guy.

I had a bladder infection the day I asked the doctor about it but thats now gone and its still there and getting worse.

  • I have had it and my doctor also says it is normal. I also had it before with my other children other than my first born and with her I didn't know what I was feeling and I was in the hospital with every odd feeling I have.

My advice is as long as your doctor isn't worry prop your feet up and try to relax.

  • A lot!  Since this is baby # 3 for me and previous large babies, it's not good.  I feel like when I squat down something is bulging out.  Not to be gross.  And sometimes just feels like I've been kicked in the crotch.  Yuck!
