ok, so i just posted about uddercovers.com and how they are giving away free nursing covers just pay for the shipping. well after someone, thanks for the warning, commented that they thought it was a scam i looked it up and sure enough it is. so i'm sorry to get anyone's hopes up.
Re: PSA: nursing cover scam
Not a scam at all!! I ordered my cover and when it didn't get here I emailed them. They responded and emailed me the address they sent it to. Everything was correct except for the city. They fixed it immediately and sent it to me right away. I got it a few days later!
It's a great deal!!! This is my third baby and I love uddercovers!

I ordered it as well and although it took forever to get to my house I was very pleased with the product.
More Green For Less Green
Me too. I sort of doubt I'll end up using it, but I got one right after I got pregnant and it'll be good to have at least one.

yeah i wish i had one with DD i ended up using a receiving blanket, which both DD and i got really warm really quickly.
Oh I'm just totally planning to be the obnoxious girl who whips it out and waves it around before bf'ing.
I kid. But in seriousness, I'm not planning to put all that much effort into covering up. But if my kid doesn't mind it, I'm sure I'll be glad to have the cover.

I ordered one awhile ago and did not get scammed.
LOL!!! too bad in NE it's illegal to breastfeed in public, so i figure if i have the cover it might make it easier to get away with it. at the same time i never bf in public with DD it was too hard because i had to use a nipple shield for the first few months and by the time she was able to latch on without it, i just used bottles when we went out. so props to you whipping it out
I feel fortunate to live in a state that protects it. Most states do and it's crazy that a few (six?) still don't.

um tell me about it! it bothers me that breastfeeding in public and homebirths are illegal in this state. i wish NE would let parents decide whats best for their children not the gov.
home births too! Eesh! I don't personally want one, but it's pretty ridiculous for the gov't to say you CAN'T have one.

yeah it's ridiculous, i mean you can have an unassisted home birth but why would you want to in case something was wrong with baby or happened to mom. there are some people that have friends who are licensed and willing to help. thankfully, we had a licensed person with us for DD home birth i just can't imagine what would have been if they weren't there.
