Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Anyone have the Arm's Reach cosleeper or similar?

When I had DS we were in a much smaller house where the PNP wouldn't fit next to the bed, plus we failed miserably at nursing.  So for the first 7 weeks I slept in the recliner in the living room with him in the PNP next to me.  For this baby, we're going to give nursing a try again, but I want the PNP downstairs.  I do have a bassinet, but am not sure if I should try to use that or get something like the Arm's Reach Cosleeper.  Another thing to consider is that my bed is REALLY high - would one of those still work?  Thanks ladies and congrats on your new bundles of joy!

  • I am using my co sleeper and I love it!  I have a high bed also and I don't have it attached to the bed. Rather I have it more like a PNP.  I know there are extenders to raise the unit for a high bed.  I have an older mini co-sleeper and didn't bother with the extenders, I look over by LO just fine.

  • We have the regular sized arms reach co-sleeper and we love it. We used it with both daughters. We use the extensions since our bed is high too. It works great for helping to encourage breastfeeding. I can easily scoop her up in the middle of the night and just as easily put her back into the co-sleeper.
