Today at Target I'm walking through the baby section when about 30 yards away a woman screams right into her ~3 year old's face "SHUT THE F#$! UP! Do you want me to hit you in the face right now?! I said SHUT THE F#$! UP!"
Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people.
Re: FFFC: I don't think everyone should be "allowed" to have kids
Yea...I don't think I could have left that alone. She'd be the one being hit in the face.
my DH and I have conversations all the time about this topic. i also dont think everyone should be allowed. i think there should be like a test or permit you have to get or something. or at least make everyone take parenting classes. there are SO many children without parents in this world for various reasons...and we shouldnt keep adding to that number.
i know everyone has the right to have kids...but it doesnt mean they should
Totally agree, I watched a little Maury today (I still don't know why) and came to the same conclusion.
Unfortunately, there will always be unfit parents.
I think I would have walked over to that woman and told her the same thing she was telling her daughter! How sad.
Yea but just because you have a licence to do something doesn't mean you always follow the rules. There are a lot of people who don't deserve their driver's licences, but they still drive every day, you know? It won't make a difference when it comes to parenting either.
Agreed. It's easy to say "there should be a test", but what would be on it? Who would decide? What would count as a fail?
I don't know if we necessarily need CPS taking more kids away (so many already don't have parents!), but I definitely think it would be better for everyone if we, as a society, were more involved in raising all children. It takes a village!
