Is it something I eat?

DS will have days where he just spits up like crazy and others where it's not so bad. I haven't been able to pin point anything specific as to what could be causing it. Are there certain foods that could be causing him to spit up more than others?

  • Maybe... I couldn't have any caffine with DS1.  Everytime I drank pop he would spit up more than usual.  He was even on Zantac too!

  • I have noticed the caffinee and heavy dairy (like cream, ice cream, cheesecake, etc) - but I've also noticed she spits up on days where she cries more - like if I'm having a hard time getting her down for naps for instance..

Overall - if they are happy its just a laundry problem (which is our case) but it still bothers me :)

  • Thanks all,  I know its more of a laundry and social problem rather than a health issue.  I just wondered if there was a common food source that could trigger it.  I wonder how long it takes for it to affect him when I do eat certain foods.  I think garlic or onions may be some of the cause or other spicy foods.  hmm weird.

    Thanks for your input.
