secret ultrasound tonight

So a close family friend is an ultrasound tech, and on occasion she gets a portable machine to take to different offices.  Well tonight is one of the nights that she has the machine and DH & I are going over for her to tell us the gender.  I didnt tell any friends or family, so we can surprise them when we find out.  I am so excited, just hope LO cooperates and 7pm gets here quick.

    Congrats! Must be cool to be able to have that. My doctor is so rush, rush that she looked for 2 seconds and said "I THINK it's a boy, we'll look again next time." I would give anything to be able to do it again right now, to find out for sure. But, I hope you get the outcome you want. Are you hoping for a girl or boy?

    DH & I both want one of ea. eventually, but kinda want a boy first.  Although we have 11 boys under the age of 6 between family & close friends so I wouldnt mind breaking the trend.  I guess we'll see...

    what a bummer.  It weirds me out that an OB wouldn't appreciate what a big moment that is for new parents.
