We're ready to change DD's heavy Graco stroller with a lighter one. She's 5 months but she's a huge baby - 97 percentile :-) - so I think we can get away with an umbrella stroller.
We would like a stroller that's not uncomfortable but I realize there's a trade-off between the stroller's weight and how comfy it is.
What stroller do you have? Also, where would you go to check out strollers other than BRU?
Thanks!
Re: Recommend your stroller and a place to buy strollers
We also have the Joovy Kooper and like it a whole lot. DD loves thihs stoller. When ever she gets in it she just gets soooo relaxed.
It was on my registry at BRU. I think the only had one color in the store, but more online.
My parents have a Chicco Liteway in CA for DD. We used in back in July when we were there for a week and I loved it. Super lightweight but still comfy, good storage and handles great. Only thing I didn't like was there isn't a cup-holder for me (there was one for her for when she gets to that point) but I can get over that - I think a lot of umbrella strollers lack a cup holder for the parent. They have them at BRU to try out but you can find them cheaper online (unless you have a 20% off coupon and then it's just as cheap at BRU as it is online). MIL put DD in one of the ones at BRU today to test it out and she likes it too. It's not too expensive either.
We were thinking about getting a Maclaren Quest (I think- or was it the Triumph) but I like the Chicco better so far.
Love, love, love the Baby Jogger City Mini. I used a headrest insert in it when DD was about 4-5 mos until I felt like she had better head control. So far, it is the only stroller we have needed.
It's pretty light at about 17 lbs and has a super easy fold. We have a Graco Snuride 32 carseat and the adapter for the stroller, though at 9 months old, I rarely take the bucket carseat out of the car.
