Has anyone used mabel's labels for clothing?

I need to label DD1's clothes before she starts preschool, and I'm trying to decide if I should get the sticky tagmates, the iron-ons, or both. Most of her clothes have tagless labels, so I'm thinking I'll need the iron-ons but wonder if I should get some tagmates too.

What have you used?

    I ordered the iron-ons but haven't used them yet (they arrived last week).  I thought the stick on ones would come off even though they are supposed to withstand washing.

    I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

    I got a combo pack of iron ons and stick ons...2 years ago. I still have some labels. there were so many in the pack!  I used a lot of stick ons on tops, iron ons on denim or jackets.  If I was just getting one or the other, I'd go with the stick ons. they stay on pretty darn good. I just pulled out some cotton trainers by ImseVimse for ds to wear the first few weeks of preschool and the tags from 2 years ago were still on ... lol. I had forgotten all about them.  guess, I should order some for ds.

    Halo, do the stick-ons work on tagless clothes? The description says to apply them to the care tags, so I wasn't sure if they stuck to the fabric too.

    I wish they sold them in smaller quantities. I know I won't come anywhere close to using them all.

    well, I put them on all tops, including the tagless.  the iron on were thicker and I was worried that with some knits it would show pulling on the outside.   I washed everything first, then put the little stick on ones on.  it was fine.  they are also easier to remove than the iron on ones.
