I think it just looks like the names Jay and Shawn smashed together. It's nms.
I think Mark is fine though.

Assuming this is a legitimate post, I don't like Jayshawn at all. (Please pardon the bluntness...it's my thought process)
The nick name Jay and the name, Sean are fine on their own, but smushed like that...I don't know; it's not very educated looking. If you're doing an omage to the rapper, I actually prefer Jay Sean. Although if I were to tease the name, I could think of Gayshawn/Gay Sean off the top of my head.
Now Mark is a good name I haven't seen in a while. I like it.

Actually has nothing to do with the rapper at all DH really liked the name (b4 the singer/rapper ever came about) and he has 2 brothers: Jason and Shawn. My brothers name is Mark

I'm mostly a lurker here but comment sometimes.
My nephew's name is Tayshawn (TayShawn, Tay Shawn?) and I'm not the biggest fan, especially because it naturally gets shortened to Tay, which will forever sound babyish to me. At first I thought my sister had named him TreyShawn, and I was more okay with Trey. Oh well!
That said, while Jay Shawn is NMS, and obviously you're already getting the "did you name him after the rapper?" question, I'm okay with the nn Jay and I like your family name usage. If you're okay with him being called Jay, then go for it.
Instead of trying to cram 3 names into 2, why not save one of those for your next little one? Jason Mark sounds great! Or what about Marcus Shawn?
PS: Only you can decide if the rapper questions will get annoying to you. Just consider this question: Do you really want to have to say "His name is JayShawn. My husband really liked the name b4 the singer/rapper ever came about," EVERY time you introduce your new son?
