Pregnant after a Loss

Pls help me pick out wall colors for the nursery :(

I really cannot decided what to do with the baby's room, every time I make a decision, I change it. I really need help. The bedding is in my siggy. I was thinking of doing green stripes, one stripe in a lighter shade, and one in a darker shade, and bring in pink accents to the room, like pink curtains, and wall decor, the furnitures are an antique white color, but now I'm thinking a very light pink wall color would work better. Please help me decide.?
?
Thanks ladies. I'll be back, I have to go watch good night cartoons according to DS (lol), he's so bossy.?

Re: Pls help me pick out wall colors for the nursery :(

  • if it were me, i'd go with a sage green wall color. our nursery (pre-paint job) is pink and i hate it, even though we are having a girl.

  • Ooooh, I looooooooooove the bedding.  Gorgeous.  I might do a sagey green or even a latte color (like khaki or light coffee).  I think that antique white furniture will be beautiful!

Totally agree - that way the room will last her longer than it would if it were pink.

  • I agree with pp.  I think the sage green color in that bedding is absolutely beautiful and will have a much longer shelf life than a pink wall color.  You can do so much with the pink accents and, maybe, you can even add in some antique white polka dots somewhere in there.

     Beautiful bedding, BTW!

  • I like the Latte idea alot.  Sage green is great too.
  • Thanks ladies, I really could not settle on the pink idea,so green it will be, I'm just having a hard , finding the right green combination, I may go to sherwin williams tomorrow to see if they can match the fabric for me. I also like the latte idea too. This harder than I thought it would be. I'm going to do her wall letter in polka dots, and some picture frames too. ?I got the bedding on ebay, at a great price, I love it. ?Thank you so much for all the help.?
  • I like the kahaki/latte color idea. that will be easy for her to grow into.

BTW, I love your son's hair! He is such a cutie!

  • Thanks mrs_ross. I love his hair too, but it is such a pain to do every morning, he screams and kick, It's going to be so much harder with a girl, I'm not looking forward to doing her her hair at all.?
  • I LOVE the bedding... so pretty!! I definitely think green is the way to go - a nice sage, like May said. Stripes would be cute too, if you wanna do a few different shades of green. And then pink accents, like you said. :)
  • So, I'm dying to see your bedding with all the compliments, but I don't see it in your siggy. Is there a link?
