I didn't tell my OB that I was switching, but I did ask medical records to send my chart to another Dr. The new Dr. can't see me until tomorrow, but I still needed my injection on Monday. I went to the old office for my injection and the nurse came out and totally gave me flack. She was like "If you are not going to be a patient here we don't need to be providing you anymore care". I convinced her to give me the flippin shot and they made me wait FOREVER. Then they told me I owed them $50 and couldn't have the shot until I'd paid it. DH took my debit card and I wasn't going to put it on credit. So I told them "I have offered payment EVERY SINGLE TIME I have come in here and the last 6 visits I've either been told I have a credit or didn't owe anything. I didn't come prepared to make a payment today, I just want my damn shot so I can GO HOME! You're going to have to bill me." Then the made me sign something saying that I would pay them (like I'd let a bill get reported to the credit bureau. pft.) and finally gave me my shot.
Jeez. Talk about rude and petty. I should have just walked out and called my surrogate MIL (she's a nurse) to do it for me. Next week she's going to give DH a lesson so he can do it.

Wow- that is rediculous!! I cannot believe how they treated you. I'm glad you switched offices, because that was just completely unprofessional.
This must just prove that you made the correct decision to change docs.
