AHHHH!!! We saw a heartbeat!

I was TERRIFIED! Come to find out I was exactly right to the day I ovulated even though I hadn't tracked it that month. The baby measured exactly 6 weeks and 1 day and that's what I thought! We saw the little flicker of a heartbeat and I don't think anything could make me happier. I'm just ecstatic. 
It just seemed too good to be true so I was afraid they were going to tell me it was. They didn't do any bloodwork, but are putting me on hcg injections for a while just to help "boost" things in his words. He said with the pcos I wasn't necessarily supposed to be able to even ovulate so the hcg would help in case the egg wasn't fully developed. He said he has no reason to think anything is wrong or will be wrong... just an extra precaution. He also put me on baby aspirin every day. I got to give myself my first injection today so that was fun. Thanks for all the well wishes. I go back next Tues for a follow up u/s.

LOL trust me, the "fun" in injections will quickly wear off! lol!
