Baby picture overload

My BIL & SIL post up pictures of their son ridiculously on FB.  I know that people post tons of pics of their kids on FB, and I'm sure I'll have my "Baby Ryan" photo albums but I seriously think they are out of control.  They have baby photo albums, fine, but then what seems like every 5 minutes there is a status update with a new picture of their son...do you really need to updating FB so often with what he's doing??  Who really cares that he's sitting in a booster seat while you eat waffles?  The worst was yesterday - I go on FB and there's a status update of their son lying on his belly spitting up...really, that's facebook status worthy??  Not only are they constant with the FB pictures but I get multiple text messages a week with pictures (on example was the back of his head at a baseball game?)...and I get multipe emails a week with pictures...I love my nephew and we live in different states so I don't get to see him that often but they are really starting to get annoying with this.  Please tell me this is not normal and I will not be this annoying when Ryan arrives.

    Dh has a friend who's wife posts pics of their little girl on fb....over 30 albums and she is about a year old.....wow.

    I hide people like this. I have one of my best friends hidden for this very reason. But b/c I love her, I check her page almost every day to make sure I dont miss anything important. I just get so annoyed when her son's "blowouts" news is taking up my news feed.

    I can foresee us having a lot of pictures on there - but I'm not into the status updates every ten seconds with what the kid is doing.  Great.  I'm sure it's very special that she's pooped yet again.  We don't want to hear about it.

    I have a friend who does that with her mobile phone...I feel like when people do that their kid isn't regular camera worthy. She'll always do ones with her DD in a carseat like it's exciting or something
