I am thrilled to report that we saw the heartbeat last Wednesday - there is a pic of the tiny babe in my blog. Everything looked great and of course my dates were dead on thanks to charting.

We officially hired our midwife, and I am excited to work closely with her throughout the pregnancy.

Morning! Haven't reported here in a while because, well, there is just nothing to report. No bump, minimal symptoms, haven't had even one appt. yet (long story). My first MW appt is in two weeks. Hopefully I'll have more then!

Here I am at 20 weeks

We had our anatomy scan last week and am very happy to report that our LO is healthy! And we are having a BOY!!! He was very proud to show us his boy parts over and over. We are over the moon excited!!

I haven't taken a picture this week, but I will for next week!

I can't believe I am half-baked and tomorrow is the BIG ultrasound! I can't wait to see a beautiful, healthy, baby and to find out the sex!!

Hi Gals!!! Thought I'd pop over and say hi since i missed the last few. I don't know if anyone over here remembers me though! We have our big u/s scheduled for 9/16 and I'm impatiently waiting for that! Also we have been working on the nursery!

DH put this decal up on the wall this weekend. It was a huge PITA!!!! But we love it so that's what matters! We are keeping it gender neutral.

And here is bump shot from Friday at 18 weeks. People still tell me they can't tell I'm PG. IDK what the f they are talking about, but that's just me!!!

I hope all you beautiful ladies are doing well!! I love seeing TTGP BFP's when I'm lurking on 1st tri and other month boards!!! GL!

Hi ladies!!!!!!!! I miss you all so much! We got our first look at the baby-holder on Monday (got to see gestational sac and yolk sac inside). Here's what we saw at 5.5 weeks:

Dr said there were 2 "sacs", but he believes one to be the placenta...so we'll see next appt. I'm feeling pretty good, only boob pain & nighttime bloat. I'm a nervous wreck with worry about keeping this baby. I can't even enjoy it as much as I should. I look at TP constantly and just worry about any and everything I feel or don't feel. We do get to see the hb (hopefully) during our next u/s at 6.5 weeks, coming up on Monday. Maybe I'll be able to relax a bit by then.

EDIT: I also started a new blog, if you want access PM me with your email. It's set to private right now, since the "word" isn't out to the masses yet.

Thanks! I love the name but DH likes it one day and doesn't another. I am getting pretty attached to it so I hope he decides in the end he likes it lol

Hello Ladies!

I have finally made it to 2nd tri and i'm so excited. I actually have my second appt this afternoon and will hear baby on the doppler hopefully. I bought my own home doppler and have been hearing baby pretty regularly.

I still don't feel pregnant at all as i have yet to have any symptoms. So unfortunately i don't have a lot to report but i can't wait to start feeling baby move!!!

No pictures today (I'm at work), but things are going SO well! We are so excited to be able to meet our little boy! I will reach 24 weeks on Thursday, making it Viability Day - baby can make it outside of the womb. Such a relief

Other than that, he is a super kicker/puncher and I think we have a karate kid on our hands. I don't even have to have a hand on my belly to notice the kicks - I can visibly SEE my belly poking and popping from every direction. This baby has been such a joy already, and, again, I can't wait to meet him!

Other than that, I'm just counting down the days to the BIG u/s, which is scheduled for 9/17. I can't wait to find out if we're team pink or team blue! DH and I are taking that whole day off so we can start shopping for gender-specific items and planning out our nursery.

Just chugging along here, getting bigger by the week (pic in blog). I'm feeling Carina a few times every day now and it's such a fantastic feeling. I'm hoping that DH will be able to feel her soon.

I'm 28 weeks along Big Smile and still feeling great! I started going to prenatal yoga classes last week, and the stretching is so helpful for my hips and back. No new u/s photos yet, but I'm taking my 28 wk bump photo tonight when DH gets home. It's getting big haha!

I'm set-up with the hospital midwives for a waterbirth VBAC as of yesterday, so I'm really looking forward to meeting with my doula and going over the details! Baby boy is still measuring right on track with 11/23, so a Thanksgiving baby he could be!

Our 1st OB appt is on Thursday (can't wait). We're hoping they'll do an u/s and we'll hear (not just see) the heart beat. So, hopefully next week, I'll be able to post pics. I'm not showing yet. So, no bump pics here. But, DH swears I am. I tell him not only am I fat, but it's also just bloat.

P.S. I haven't really had any m/s (thank God). So, I'm doing pretty well in that dept. I hope it stays that way.
