Nurse made me feel bad today.

I called to make a 28 week u/s appt and to let them know how my cramping was going.  It is much much better and until now, I only felt cramping twice today.  A huge improvement from the all day cramping of Thur/Fri.  Well she wanted to know why I went to work today, that I should have been home.  I told her both dr. I talked to about my situation said bedrest for the weekend and if I feel better then I could go to work.  She said ok but did not sound convinced.  Now I feel like I did the wrong thing.  I just wish the cramping would disappear for good! Thanks for listening to mywhining.

    I love it when others stick their noses where they dont belong.  Your doc knows the situation, and you felt better- she was out of line.

    I'm sorry that she made you feel bad.  I would say that if the Dr's both told you that it was okay for you to go to work, then she shouldn't have questioned it.

    She shouldn't have made you feel bad.  You and the dr discussed the situation and came up with a plan, the nurse was not a part of that.
