Waking up as soon as the head hits the mattress

in Babies: 6 - 9 Months

At bedtime I always give LO a bottle then give him his nebulizer treatment then rock him for a few minutes before putting him in his crib.  Usually LO is asleep or very drowsy by the time I put him in the crib.

Just this past weekend he has been freaking out the minute I lay him in the crib.

Any suggestions to calm him down?
