feeling nervous about anatomy scan today

It's not until 6:30 tonight so that DH didn't have to take off work.  I am actually feeling more nervous and anxious than excited so today is gonna be a LONG day.  I don't know where the paranoia is coming from since I have been feeling really positive about this pregnancy, but I can't stop worrying that they are going to find something wrong with the baby. 

I know I haven't been around the board much lately, but I really appreciate any T&P that you ladies could send our way.  Please think good thoughts for us, and if you think of it say a prayer that our little one is strong and healthy!

    I think a little anxiety is normal! I found myself praying (and I'm not really one for prayer) on my way to my big U/S that everything would be okay healthwise. I hadn't even thought to worry about it too much until the night before the ultrasound. I have to say I was glad my U/S was in the morning. Try to keep yourself busy until you go. I'm thinking of you!!

    You'll be ok.  Ya can't help but get nervous when it comes down to it.  No matter how hard I try not to be nervous I always end up getting jittery.  Guess it's just the way some people are.  :hugs: Good luck.

    I'm feeling the same way about mine tomorrow.  Just try and relax (I know, it's easy for me to say to you but I won't take my own advice).  T & P's headed your way for a great appt.
                      Well, we're on our way to 3 kids, 3 and under.
                        Set to welcome the craziness in April 2014!

    Wow, that is a long wait today!  Mine is tomorrow (but luckily at 2:30) and I was telling DH last night that even though I have not had any anxiety yet, and I have been laid back about the big scan, I would probably be beside myself on Tues.  Well, It is already starting!  I think a little anxiety is normal (otherwise we would all be considered nuts LOL!).  Good luck today and think positive thoughts!
