I saw a flyer at my OB's office needing women between 16-33w for students to practice doing u/s's on. I believe it's free and they will even record it for you if you bring a video. Would you do it?
I think it depends on what kind of a person you are... sometimes students see problems that aren't really there because they are overzealous for practice, so it might cause you to worry for no reason. So if you are a worrier, I might avoid it.
Also, even though there have been no direct studies showing adverse effects, some people want to limit their babies' exposure to ultrasound unless it is medically necessary.
And on the other hand, of course, we all know how great it is to see the baby!
Good luck deciding... let us know what you choose!
Heck yeah, I would do it! I am sure that they will have someone (a teacher or resident) there to assist. I doubt they are looking to help diagnose problems, just work on their techniques, measuring, etc.
I doubt a student would be telling you if they thought they saw anything wrong. A student u/s tech is not a doctor. Plus I bet they tell you in the beginning you won't be told any specifics. So I'd do it just to see the baby
I'd totally do it. Not only because I'd love to see baby again but I love supporting learning

I would do it. It's good practice for them, and I'd get to see the baby again.
