My husband and I have agreed on a middle name for our little girl. I keep changing the first name because I don't want anything too common. He seems to think I should just pick one and stick to it.
We know for a fact that her middle name will be Renae. Any ideas on a good first name that isn't too common?
Re: The first name debate
My middle name is Renee, but I won't suggest my first name because it's a very trendy 80s name...haha
How about Melanie?
A lot of things will work with it. What is your style? Here are a few suggestions:
Anna Renae
Sarah Renae
Rebekah/Rebecca Renae
Rachel Renae
Catherine Renae
Eleanor Renae
Lillian Renae
Sadie Renae
Jillian Renae
Juliette Renae
Diana Renae
Helena Renae
Genevieve Renae
Kathryn Renae
Margaret Renae
Virginia Renae
Penelope Renae

Not that common depends on style. "Good" depends on personal preference. So IMO, good, uncommon names are:
Isla
Violet
Elsie
Marilyn
Vera
Mathilda
Evelyn
Annabelle
Emmeline
Helena
Rosalie
Penelope
If you want to stay away from "common," I would avoid using last names as first names (Madison, Addison, Emerson, Mackenzie), anything contrived ending in -lynn (Caitlynn, Aislyn, Brooklyn), and anything in the top 100 names on the Social Security list.
How about..
Kendal
MaKenna
Brilynn
Aria
Arianna
I like Samantha with Renee.
