DD starts Kindergarten in 2 weeks. Ahh!

Any words of wisdom from those who have gone through this already?

Did you do anything special for your childs first day of school?

I know she will be fine as she is a social butterfly, I am going to be the one crying her eyes out as the bus pulls down the street.

    You could read The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn the night before.  We do an activity with that book on the 1st day of school.

    You could fix a special breaskfast.

    Just don't cry in front of her. Make a big deal about her when she gets home and let her know how proud you are of her being in school.
