I still shake it. ?I also make one big bottle with the travel lid then fill 3 or 4 smaller bottles ( she only take about 3.5 ounces) then you dont have to worry about getting the clumps on the inside parts. ?Also they make a pitch with a stiry thing in it, they sell it at BRU, we plan on buying once DD is bigger and is eating more than the small 3.5 ounce bottles.
they make a travel lid that fits without the vent, you can use that to shake it, then take if off and put the vent in. Or you could make a pitcher and pour it into the bottles.
I mix (by shaking) it in the old bottles we used before we bought Dr. Brown's and then pour the formula in to the Dr. Brown's. Doing this eliminates most of the bublles. It doesn't work to stir it b/c it still has lumps. You can also mix it in a pitcher with an immersion/stick blender and pour in to the Dr. Brown's bottles.
Re: How do you mix formula with Dr. Brown's bottles?
I've been shaking mine also.
