I'm not preggo right now, but DS and I are talking about names for our next baby when we do try again. I don't have middle names chosen yet, but these are a few of the names we like. Honest opinions, please. :-)
Boys: Forrest, Trevor
Girls: Scarlett, Delaney, Sawyer

Forrest and Scarlett are ok... I don't like Trevor and the other girl names seem trendy.
DS means Darling Son
Forrest: NMS, reminds me to much of Forrest Gump, but not a bad name at all.
Trevor: Also NMS but cute. Seems a bit dated, but that could only be because I only know men in the 20s and 30s with this name.
Scarlett: LOVE! One of my fav girl names!
Delaney: Cute, but I am not sure how well it ages
Sawyer: To me this is a boys name, and I think it will be a pretty popular boys name in the near future based on how many times I see it on this board.
Forrest - NMS, but definitely not a bad name. Time will tell if the Forrest Gump association will be lost on future generations...He was a pretty iconic character, though.
(Even then, though, it's not like you're using Hannibal. Forrest Gump was likable and heart-warming at least)
Trevor - The only Trevor I know has always been a real PITA.
Scarlett - LOVE. I think it's a beautiful name.
Delaney - Though it's not really my style, I really like this name. A woman I worked with had a daughter named Delaney and she was such a beautiful and happy baby! I think it's a name a person can grow into.
Sawyer - Eh. Not for a girl. I prefer it for a boy.
Sawyer should never be a girls' name. There isn't anything feminine about it.
Scarlett I love, but be warned that it is climbing the charts. It's become far too popular for my tastes.
Delaney--ehh, it's okay.
Forrest: I like it, but I do think of Forrest Whitacre (honestly, that's not a bad thing, he's a great actor).
Trevor--feels dated to me.
Yes, I know. I'm famous for typing "DS" instead of "DH," lol
Aww, thank you! It was one of the only names my husband and I could agree on.
Thank you to everyone else -- you all brought up great points. I totally forgot about Forrest Gump (how could I forget that movie?!)... anyway.. I think Forrest is out now, lol.
I think Forrest Gump, although your child's generation probably will not. (I also thought Wyatt Earp when my sister named her son Wyatt but no one seems to say that to him/about him anymore).
Sawyer is a boy's name to me. It's a boy's name I have considered, but like the way it looks more than the way it sounds. I also don't like that some people say Saw-yer and others say Soy-yer. The inconsistency is a personal pet peeve.
I like the others!
