I love seeing pictures of people nursery ideas!!
Bedding from PBK
Window sheers from PBK
Wall decal from Etsy.co

cute!!! i love the wall decal!
This was my first nursery....
We're doing our baby boy's nursery in primary colors-we decided this before we knew the gender and I am really excited about it! Sorry if these are big, most are of his actual room at the moment.
We purchased the Graco Sarah crib in cinnamon, and will get a similar changing table-
These decals are arriving tomorrow and will go over the crib-
9 cube organizer from Target instead of a dresser-
Lamp I already had that is inspiration
DH is a pilot, so we are going with a vintage air travel theme for our little guy.
His bumper I got on clearance from PBK:
Mobile from Restoration Hardware:
Young America crib that I got for half price:
These will be poster sized and going on the wall:
This. Except we aren't moving until the end of November so I have to wait a month longer than you! We STILL do not know the sex yet (Sept 15th is my u/s) but I know exactly what I want to do for a little girl and no clue if it's a little boy. DH is a Marine, so I would like to go cliche all-American soldier for a boy, but I think he may veto that idea. If it's a baby girl, he's out of his element so it can be completely my project and very very girly
I totally feel your pain. We moved from NC to CA a couple of weeks ago and I've been in overdrive since we got here.
We're moving too (but on Sept 1st), so we haven't done anything yet. However, we finally figured out what our 'theme' is going to be. Since Neriah and baby boy will be sharing a room, we're going to do a music theme! DH and I are really big into music (we both sing and play multiple instruments), and Neriah loves music (well really, what baby doesn't?) so we're loving the idea!
I can't wait to see it come together, and will post pictures as it does!
This post inspired me to take pictures of my nursery and I can't figure out how to add them...
Someday I'll catch up
Upload your pictures to a site like photobucket or tinypic. To post one, just post the code they give you that starts with a bracket like this [ ] and IMG.
yep, the huge flower painting is going elsewhere.
dresser/changing table with pad still in the plastic. thanks, amazon!
hey, it's a work in progress. plus, this is nothing compared to when she's 15.
Life As We Know It: my Blog
Thank You! Here it goes!
Okay so I know this is the opposite of what a girl's room usually looks like, but my husband and I both went to Boise State and decided on the decor no mater what gender. I'm proud of myself because I like it, but I'm also wondering what I'm going to do for the next 20 weeks!
I love this piece, it has totally inspired me to create a large paiting for our babies room
i am not as focused as you yet since until a week ago I was convinced I was having a boy with every ounce of me! lol
here are a few of the ideas we are kicking around. We have purchased the crib and owl bank...the rest is to come. It's going to be a modern/vintage mix with a woodsy/travel element..WOW I am so all over the place LOL
Accent Colors
Crib
changing table/drawers/bookcase
possible bedding
possible mobiles
large tin hot air balloons to hang as a cluster in one of the rooms corners
vintage "piggy" bank
We have a chair rail running the room and I am making a large tree to come from it to the ceiling out of fabric and attaching it with starch so I can remove it later without damaging the wall....it will be sorta like this but I am using a modern fabric print on brown that is not wood grain.
i'm having a quilt made similar to this using more of the colors in our room, for the guest bed that is in the nursery for now.
It will be interesting to see how our inspirations actually come together. We should post that after we are done!
