SO indecisive!!!!

I really want to decide on bedding but I can't!! I fell in love with the Little Tree Bedding several of you had posted, but DH didn't like it. He wants a sports theme, but I vetoed that so we are trying to meet in the middle.

I am having a hard time because I don't want a 4-pc or 6-pc set. I want to buy things piece by piece (e.g. buy sheets, rug, lamp, etc) and I have no use for the bumper, comforter, or dust ruffle. We hung DD's comforter on the wall and it is still there, but I don't need that. Her bumper is on her closet floor and since the crib has to come halfway apart to raise and lower the mattress, I am just leaving it down. By the time LO sleeps in there, it will have to come up 2-3 months later (DD pulled to standing by about 7 months).

What do you think of this? And/ or post your boy bedding!!!!!

It is cute although I prefer more striking color contrast because that is what babies like. Personal preference though! Cute!

WOW that's long...but I love the theme. We'll use other patterned blues/whites to supplement the sheets and whatnot, but I will definitely buy this. Plus there's a lot of cute Etsy wall decals that I love that'll go perfectly with the set.

I personally love the set you picked! It is adorable. We are having a girl so it won't help for me to post my pic. But for the record we got the Jacana set from BRU. I think an animal theme will be great because kids typically love animals and you can decorate the room with all sorts.

If you know you don't want some pieces, definitely don't waste money on a set and find a store that has separates. Are you anywhere near a Burlington Coat Factory that has a Baby Depot inside? They sell a ton of bedding with the accessories like rugs, lamps, mobiles, etc.

I would start with choosing cute crib sheets,, and then get things that coordinate along with it in color or theme.

Another idea-check out not only the baby bedding aisle but the kids decor aisle at Target (like for a big boy room), because I was surprised when I did. They had some very cute curtains, lamps, and decor that would go great in a baby's room as well but just wasn't in that same section.

Edit- I forgot to say I like your animal theme. For my baby boy's room , we are not really doing an exact theme, just primary colors-but we will have some animals in the room too.

We aren't buying a set, just putting the sheet and a white breathable bumper in the crib. This is my favorite crib sheet, it's a little blurry but it's by Carters-

I like your bedding - super cute. I know I'm having a girl, but we're doing the fisher price precious planet theme, which is really unisex. I just loved the bright colors. That might be good if you want an animal theme with some bright colors.
