Trouble TTC

My new personal plan

If this cycle doesn't result in a BFP, then I've decided that I'm going to do a cycle on, cycle off kind of thing with Clomid (so we'd use Clomid one cycle, try on our own the next and alternate).

I get really nervous with all the time I've taken off work for appointments, despite the fact that work has had zero problems with it, but I just feel like it's a lot, and I'm not willing to tell them what the appointments are for. I think this way, I'd feel a lot less stressed about it. My goal is to get them to renew my contract at the end of October, and I don't want to give them a reason not to.

So, even though that might make things take longer in the interim for me to get a BFP, I think it's what I need to do for the time being. I find when I'm doing all the monitoring and stuff too, that TTC tends to start to take over my brain, so the 1 cycle on, 1 cycle off I think would help me to stay sane a little longer in between Clomid cycles, and help me to not bombard DH with all my ovarian chatter (though he's been a saint about it).

That sounds like a good plan, but hopefully you won't need it;)  I've been thinking about after my next cycle of clomid taking a treatment break until the new year too - that way may poor ovaries can have a little recovery time.
