Why is it that random people feel the need to tell me all about their fuucking stupid pregnancy????
Some girl I barely know on FB just asked me if I was running Nike in October, and I just said I was signed up since I obviously have no interest in sharing with the whole world and don't even know the timing for the IVF cycle yet. And of course she has to fill me in about how she's 10 weeks pregnant and might not be able to run.

I feel like telling her about my IVF to shut her up, but then again, she's not that important to me.

First of all, I don't know who the hell you are, and certainly don't need to see your huge ass stupid ticker. Second, do you go around telling everyone including those you barely know about your pregnancy? Yeah, probably. Third, if any of you idiots took your head out of your asses long enough to consider other people and their possible situations, you wouldn't go around bitching about your pregnancy and "how hard it is"

Calm yourself it was an actual question. Sorry for any issues you have but it was a real question. You are an extremely rude person and at this point you not getting pregnant is probably karma coming to kick you in the @ss.

Perhaps you have reading comprehension issues - this is someone I BARELY know. Someone I have spent maybe 5 hours tops with and only at work, and she went out of her way to message me privately about her pregnancy when even her family didn't know yet. Who does that? Why would I care?

sorry but I'm not going to remove my ticker just because I asked you a legit question. Sorry if I got your panties in a twist.
Infertility is extremely painful, and is accompanied by the fear that you will never be a mother. It is full of high hopes that are crushed repeatedly, sadness, doubt, sometimes guilt, and oftentimes leads to bitterness.
Infertility is silent because it hurts us so much to talk about it, often because it's very emotional to go through. So we stay silent and offer congratulations to everyone around us who gets pregnant while we are spending thousands of dollars to achieve a dream others get so easily. And time and time again we fail, while we watch acquaintances and friends welcome baby after baby into their lives.
So a person you barely know contacting you privately to tell you she's KU is strange, and hurtful. And of course she wouldn't know about Dip's struggle since they AREN'T CLOSE.
Bottom line, we are all going through infertility here, and it hurts time and time again to get pregnancy announcements. So this is the place for us to vent about it. Where we are understood.
I wouldn't normally care about your ticker, except you came to a TROUBLE trying to conceive board (um yeah, that's what the extra T means) and then asked a pretty stupid question. I'm sure you run around telling random strangers all about your pregnancy and how awful your morning sickness is, so you couldn't possibly understand anyone not giving two craps about your great news. You have proven yourself to be without compassion or common sense, so why don't you just go back to 1st Tri where you can ask dumb questions all day long and nobody calls you out.

My question in response is why do people assume that we give a crap about the status of their ute? I don't update people about the status of mine.... Tell me about it if I ask but if I don't you can assume it's more interesting to you than it is to anyone else.
I show people the same respect regarding my pets - non-pet owners don't give a rat's ass about my animals and I respect that.
Also, just be honest with yourself and admit that you would think it was an overshare if someone told you their IF status in response to a conversation about your pregnancy.
