1st appointment..

I have my first appointment on tuesday and i'm super excited to see if everything is ok!! i'm nervous because recently my doctor moved out of state :( and now i have a new doctor that i haven't met yet... 

so anyway i was wondering since this is my 1st appointment and 1st baby i just don't know, can my boyfriend come?? i want him too and please dont judge that we arn't married, we'v been together for 7 years just never got around to the rings...one day but no rush..

Anyway.. is that normal?? can he come?? help! i dont want it to be akward with this new doctor if he comes, if it was my other doctor i wouldnt think twice about it..

    No one is going to judge you for not being married.

    Your bf can absolutely go with you to your appt (unless your doc's office has some weird rule about it, but I haven't heard of any like that).

    MH came to both 1st appointments.  Depending on your dr it might not be an exciting one, but there is usually a lot of information. MH has been coming to all of my appointments for this one (I get them twice a week because of my loss) and some would think it's weird, but it works for us.

    i dont mean to be rude when i say that "dont judge" but we get a lot of slack for it and a lot of " were you trying to have a baby unmarried??" questions and etc sorry if i came off rude!!

    Yes of course he can come to your appointment!  My DH has always been in the room with me to see u/s and talk to the dr.  Congrats!!

    DH came with me to all my appointments with DD. My Dr was happy that he did. There is no reason your BF could not go with you. IMO, it is good for him to be there.
