I started talking to my baby when I was crouched in front of the toilet bowl with morning sickness... usually along the lines of, "It's a good thing I love you baby, 'cuz you're kicking my butt today." It's become more hopeful since those initial conversations.
Yep! I talk and sing to him all the time. I am so thankful and in love with my baby, I let him know it everyday! Sometimes he really gets going in there when I sing to him..not sure if that's a good thing or not!! LOL!!

makes note to start singing when alone, I don't have big headphones, only ear buds, hmm maybe I could stick one in my belly button?
Once in a while when it's just me and her and she's squirmy if I'm in a crouched position I say "alright, I'll move" but I would like to get more used to it probably when I hit 20 wks since I think that's when all the hearing is developed...
Yes. But more DH than me. I'm going to make more of a concerted effort to talk/sing to them. For some reason singing feels much less odd than talking, and according to my hypnobirthing book they LOVE music.
I talk to mine every day. I honestly think it's helping to keep her in longer, plus I need to tell her to be good before our NST's twice a day. Mommy does not want to go back to labor and delivery for another 7 weeks.
Yep! I sing and talk to her in the car on the way to/from work. It is "our" time. We've also been reading the What to Expect and Pregancy Week by Week books together. lol!
Proud mommy to dd's Sarah & Kaylin & Abby
bonus sons Trae & Trevor
yep, and DH reads to the baby every night. We really enjoyed this in my first pg, and Clark actually did recognize DH's voice after several weeks. That brought DH a lot of comfort, too, after he died. He was glad that Clark knew who his daddy was. There would be times that DH would start speaking publicly and Clark would start kicking. As soon as DH stopped, kicking would stop.
i usually beg and plead with her to move and promise her that if she does, her daddy will buy her all kinds of great things once she's on the outside. i figure it's the least i can offer since she may never have a real name other than cuppa.
Re: Do you talk to your baby yet?

DH has done that through out my pregnancy. (sticking the ear bud in my belly button)
I do talk to Carter, especially now when I'm trying to convince him that it is time to come out!
