What are some of your favorite girl names?
DH and I are having a hard time with this. We don't like really common names, but I don't want something that is completely off the wall either.

Sounds a bit like me. My current list consists of Bronwen, Gwendolen, Lorraine, Penelope, Amber, Jocelyn (I have more, but these are what I can remember)
I usually run any names I like through Name Berry (to see what's being discussed), SSA Names (to see popularity) and Behind the Name for meaning and spelling)

we're deciding between stella, ruth, willa and greta. Other names we tossed around include:
beatrice
louisa
eleanor
lucy
evelyn
eloise
anna
daphne
amongst many more.
We are naming our daughter Sadie.
Our runners up were Harper, Charlie, Lila & Molly.

I'm really into Isla, Emery, and Emmeline right now. I've always liked Penelope, Vivienne and Caroline.
Other pretty, girly names: Violet, Ivy, Angelina, Adrienne, Rosalie, Amelia...
I think girl's names should be feminine. But there are a few androginous names I like: Shawn, Briar, Ryanne.
I think we are going with Keira but others I liked were:

My husband and I also like: Helena, Ilona, Isadora, and Tabitha!
I actually really like Wren. I couldn't pull it off with my last name, but it's a pretty name.
I also like Elisabeth, Lauren, Caroline, Alexandra, Leah, Abigail, Hannah, Katherine.
My DD's name is Hilarie Dawn. Yes, I picked that spelling on purpose. Dawn was a runner up name but we just thought it flowed nicely with Hilarie.
The other 2 names we took to the hospital were Evie Noelle (VERY close #2) and Dawn Renee.
I adore the name Tanith (like the ice dancer) and also like Danica, Lana, Vivian, Autumn, April, and Hope (my middle name).
DD is Clara and this baby will be Elisabeth (if it's a girl, of course!)
Other names we like are: Catherine, Charlotte, Evelyn, Victoria, Virginia, Briony, Abigail, Emma, Emily, Violet
How about Nyla? (or I think the Gaelic spelling is Naila)
