Whenever the subject of having kids or when to have kids comes up DH
always acts so nonchalant and like "Oh whenever you want to is fine."
Like he doesn't care or something - but not in a mean way. I actually
think it's to not put pressure on me.
Well, I've noticed that the last several times we've had dinner
with his family, and my BIL & SIL are there with their two boys, DH
is all cutesy with our youngest nephew. He talks to him, rubs his back,
pinches his chubby cheeks, and tries to play with him.
Re: DH & kids
Jeremy was always very nonchalant about it, but I noticed how great he did around kids and babies. I think it was the same as with T - didn't want to put any pressure on me.
Now, he is a great dad and very hands on. I bet T will be a great one too!
And Sarah, don't feel bad about being nervous about the whole PG thing and L&D. I'm the biggest chicken out there and look - I'm doing it again! It's definitely not something I would want to do everyday, but when it comes down to it, you just do what you gotta do!
Thanks Shannon!
It's just scary, I've always been kind of a chicken about the unknown. The thing that I have to laugh about with myself is that I've always handled pain well. I know labor pain is kind of a whole different kind & level - but I've always been good at managing and working through pain. I'm just trying to build confidence in my body right now.
