BRU registry completion coupon

Hey Ladies!

I have a couple of questions about the BRU registry completion coupon.

1. When did you receive this coupon and what % off is it for?

2. My showers are over and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck   with asking the store for the coupon early.

3. Can it be combined with any other coupons?

4. How long after receiving the coupon do you have to use it?

I received my coupon in the mail two weeks ago (event/due date I used was 9/1/2010 when I registered).  It was for 15% and even included a online code if I rather do it online instead of in the store.  The coupon was a big postcard, DH almost threw it away thinking it was just junk mail ad, lucky I was in the car with him when he was sorting the real mail from the junk mail.

    2. My showers are over and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck   with asking the store for the coupon early.  I didn't ask to move up my event date at BRU as I was not expecting the coupon early.  However, I did ask for early coupon at Land of Nod where I also registered.  They had me type in a new event date and that triggered the coupon.  Just make sure that you have everything you want on your registry because once the event date has passed, you can not add anything more to your registry.

    3. Can it be combined with any other coupons?  Not yet used it so I am not sure?

    4. How long after receiving the coupon do you have to use it?  Mine has an expiration date in November of this year on the post card coupon.

    I just had my shower on 8/15, and went to BRU last weekend to purchase things that were still on the registry.  My EDD isn't until October, so I asked her if I could use a 15% completion coupon for the purchase (it was big, like $300) - eventhough I hadn't gotten mine yet.  She pulled one out of the drawer and used it!  I would recommend going to the Customer Service counter and not the regular registers if you want to do this.

     And yes, they let me combine it with other coupons...I had three 20% off coupons that I used on the most expensive items.  And she applied the 15% completion discount to the whole purchase.

    It's only for 10% so I've been using the 20% off coupons they give you with your purchases to complete my registry. 

    It's a bit time consuming (you can only use 1 coupon at a time) but I think it's worth it for the extra % off.

    1. I got mine when I was about 36 weeks. Mine was for 15% off. What's interesting about that was the guy in the store when he talked about it said it was 10%...yet I got a 15% one.

    2. They may be able to get you one early - you never know unless you ask.

    3. I was able to combine mine with the 20% off coupons I got. I've heard other ladies say they couldn't, but I had no issues. In fact, that's how I got my breastpump was by using 20% off and then the 15% off, which made it affordable!

    4. I think you have about 2 months to use it after your EDD (it says it on the coupon - it's like 45 or 60 days or something like that. I can't remember...but I think I had until November sometime to use it.) You can only use it for one day though - and you can use it online and in the store, but after that day you can't use it anymore.

    i got mine and it is only 10% ( buy buy baby does 15%) its the kind where you have to buy all the un bought items at once to get the discount on them which i think is kind of annoying.  i feel like they should honor the discount on all the items no matter when you buy them ya kno like decide a time limit but thats just me.  it also expires pretty quickly which is annoying since i haven't even had the baby yet and wont know if i for sure need some of the items or not.

    1. When did you receive this coupon and what % off is it for? My shower was this past Sunday, and on the Saturday prior to it, I got the 15% coupon in my mail! So it was perfect timing:)

    2. My showers are over and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck   with asking the store for the coupon early. No need for me, so can't answer that one. 

    3. Can it be combined with any other coupons? Yes! She said that you can use the 15% off of the registry items, and if you had a 20% off one item one, they would take 20% off your most expensive item.

    4. How long after receiving the coupon do you have to use it?  Mine was going to expire 11/21 and I used it yesterday, and got it 3 days ago, so a couple months!
