DS is here!

DS finally arrived 10 days after my due date. I was induced on the afternoon of Sept 26 and gave birth to our son Miles just before midnight. The labor went really quickly and everyone at St V's was great. He was diagnosed w/ a heart defect in the morning (tetralogy of fallot with pulmonary atresia) so we got transfered to Legacy Emanuel where he stayed in PICU before and after his heart surgery. So I've had some experience with both St V's and Emanual's maternity and NICU/PICU wards if anyone wants a comparison! His long term prognosis looks good, but he'll need a few more surgeries. Luckily we have a strong guy who is otherwise healthy! We've been home since last Saturday, and we're slowly getting use to being parents. I love being a mom!
